Port Approved - FOC

The port of your new phone number has been approved by Number Shack

We have received the port request from your carrier, and it has been approved.

Your text message indicates FOC and a date. This is the Firm Order Commitment, or the date the port will happen. The port can happen anytime on that date and normally before 6pm. If the port does not happen, please see this help article on completing soft/hard reset. If a FOC date was not provided, this means that your phone carrier did not provide one to our carrier. You will need to contact your carrier to obtain the FOC, Number Shack cannot obtain that and has no further information on the FOC date, other than that the port request was received and approved.

Do not cancel, modify, change, delete, add services

Any premature changes or cancellation of your current account where your number is being ported to, will cause the porting process to abort. This will cause an unnecessary delay as you will need to start the entire process again. There will be a $75 fee charged by Number Shack (see the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to upon purchase).
