I want to buy a number. How do I do it?
- Simple. Take a look through the store, find a number you like, and add it to your cart, and then proceed to checkout. After your payment has completed, we will contact you to start the porting process. But don’t forget to ask us for a more complete list of phone numbers in your area code and price range. We have many more numbers than are listed in the store!
- If you’d rather be invoiced for the number, just send us an email (or text or call us). You can still pay online using a credit card. And you’ll get a nice PDF receipt for your number purchase.
Can I pay by any method? Credit cards? EMT?
- We process payments through major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover). We also accept email money transfers.
I purchased a number, but my carrier refuses to port it. What do I do?
- If for some reason your carrier of choice will not port your number, we will gladly refund your order within 30 days of purchase. Your carrier will tell you within 24 hours of port request if a number is not transferrable. So this 30 day guarantee leaves plenty of room for this guarantee.
Can I return a number if I decide I don’t like it?
- Sorry, due to the nature of the service and product we cannot accept returns unless the carrier will not port a number as described above.
Can I park more than one number with Number Shack?
- You can purchase as many phone numbers as you want and keep them parked with us until you are ready to use or port them.
What if I do not port or park my number?
- If you do not port your number or purchase a parking or call forwarding plan within 30 days, you will forfeit the phone number.
If I want to sell my number, do you buy phone numbers?
- No, we do not buy phone numbers.
